On the occasion of the book launch of Role of Play. New Games, New Chances. A Future Perspective on Play in Society by Ben Schouten and Menno Deen, Pakhuis de Zwijger in Amsterdam organizes an evening to engage in conversation and playful interaction with various designers and researchers about how our gaming culture has changed since the digital revolution of the past 50 years. 

After the book launch and exhibition opening of The Artist as Explorer | Madelon Hooykaas at Landhuis Oud Amelisweerd, which is on view until November 12th, Madelon Hooykaas presented her new interactive publication during Eye on Art: Madelon Hooykaas - The Artist as Explorer at the Eye Filmmuseum in Amsterdam. This evening featured six short films and videos, a Q&A by art historian and curator Jacqueline Grandjean. 

Role of Play: New Games, New Chances. A Future Perspective on Play in Society offers a refreshing take on modern game design and play. Author Ben Schouten will be present at the Frankfurter Buchmesse to launch his brand new publication on October 18th!

It is time for the third and last fragment of the video readings from the publication Every Day Until Antwerp! In this series, Jacqueline Schoemaker takes the viewer with her on her journey to Antwerp through fragments from the book. 

Shortlist Prix de Rome beeldende kunst 2021 bekend

De internationale jury van de Prix de Rome heeft vier kunstenaars geselecteerd voor de shortlist van de Prix de Rome Beeldende Kunst 2021. De genomineerden zijn: Mercedes Azpilicueta, Alexis Blake, Silvia Martes en Coralie Vogelaar.
Dit is bekend gemaakt door het Mondriaan Fonds dat de prijsvraag organiseert en financiert.
